Rosehip Oil is a great source of anti-ageing antioxidants pro-Vitamin A, beta-carotene, tocopherols (Vitamin E) and phenols, plus over 50% Omega 6 Linoleic Acid (great for protecting and repairing skin barrier). Rosehip Oil can reduce scars, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, brightens and evens skin tone. Rosehips are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), although the levels of nutrients vary when the seeds are processed into oil, that's why consuming Rosehip tea made from dried fruits and seeds is a great way to absorb these vitamins.
Rosehip Oil is a lightweight, easily absorbed oil, with a low comedogenic rating of just 1, meaning it won't clog pores and can be tolerated by even acne prone skin. In fact, its healing and anti-inflammatory properties make it a great oil for acne scarring.
We use Organic Rosehip Oil, which has been cold pressed to ensure the maximum amount of nutrients, vitamins and minerals remain in the final product.
